Sweat It Out Music


Why they got in touch:
Sweat It Out are an Australian record label, who are staples and icons in the electronic music scene. The aftermath of COVID and the ripple effect on music left the label looking for new ways to connect with the next generation and showcase their music, if it wasn't going to be heard at the club or festivals. That's where we came in, professional audience connoisseurs and connectors.

The approach:
Sweat It Out we’re seeking heightened engagement, visibility and a presence on TikTok, the key destination for young music lovers looking to find the song that’ll soundtrack their summer. The approach was simple, build and develop a TikTok presence via engaging social content. Prior to our arrival, the social media via other socials were made up of primarily music release/informative piece content. We strategize to combine personality/EGC content, on ground behind the scenes, trending & spotlight content with their own in house marketing machine materials. We conceptualised, created, distributed (and delivered ;) ) across a 9-month period.

The verdict:

Aside from consistency, combining on-trend and likeable content to draw viewership and engagement allowed breathing room for the real magic (their music) to shine.

We grew their page to over 10,000 likes in 6-months on TikTok, 10k+ likes on instagram, doubled their growth rate, achieved multiple mini virality moments, and captured on-ground digital gold. Once their goal was achieved and their presence was re-established to new audiences, we parted ways in person, but of course we keep in touch online.
